Kids Network

Disciples Kids serves children between the ages of 1 to 10 every Sunday morning in four age groups led by bilingual teachers. Check-in station opens at 10:30 AM, and children are dismissed to their crews after worship with the congregation. Only the adult that drops off the child in their classroom can pick them up. In an emergency, a ministry director will send a text or call will be made to parents' contact info given at the check-in station.

These are wonderful years where hearts and minds are being shaped. Children at this age absorb things quickly, and they learn by exposing them to music and games. We use Christ-centered music and sensory toys during our play to focus on developing learning in a Christ-centered environment.

Yellow Crew kids are ready for all the games and activities! In our classroom we introduce Bible-centered games and stories as well as crafts and coloring that stimulate fine motor skills. We have a focus on teaching the important practice of prayer by teaching children to pray for their food, for their friends and to thank  God for all the blessings received.

We love to present the word of God visually and playfully. Our teachers work hard to create a loving and harmonious environment for the Green Crew. We focus especially on building teamwork skills, through practicing sharing and teaching encouragement for one another.

Our mission is that the Red Crew not only knows the story of Christ but also experiences a personal relationship with Him. In our classroom, they will begin to establish this relationship through lessons on discipleship, Bible verses, and praying for their peers and their needs. We practice bilingual praise and worship, preparing our crew to participate in worship with the congregation.

Once a member of our crew reaches 11 years old, they will transition from participating in Sunday school to joining the congregation for service and joining the youth on Wednesdays. They are also encouraged to take on a role as a Little Leader in which they will act as teachers assistants for a kids crew. This teaches them our churches motto of being a disciple who makes disciples.

Joselyn and Margarita are passionate about instilling the love of God in the hearts of children and equipping them to be come Christlike disciples who model Christ in this world.
